Moving Clowns

Outreach

Moving Clowns is a series of workshops offering the study of clown-theatre and awareness through bodywork. It is an ongoing collaborative project between Nayana Bhat and clown-pedagogue Peter Kaubisch since 2014.

The workshops focus on clown-theatre that is deeply rooted in awareness practices through improvisation, movement, dance, Feldenkrais and Yoga. Through playful tasks and exercises, the participants explore different aspects of their 'inner clown', and find unique characteristics to their individual clown figures.

The workshop series offers several modules in varying lengths, each focusing on different aspects of clown-theatre. Presently, it is a regular course offered in German at the GEA Akademie in Schrems, Waldviertel. It is also available to be programmed in other contexts in both German & English languages. For inquiries, feel free to contact us on office@influxart.at.
