Bharatanatyam

In this commission, Nayana was invited by Nada Mani to perform Bharatanatyam in a trio-setting at the Lange Nacht der Kirchen festival, 2017 in the beautiful Kajetanerkirche. The trio, consisting of Dr Asmita Banerjee, Nada Mani & Nayana Bhat, shared an hour long performance, repeated twice, each time to a full-house audience. The repertoire consisted of solo, duo and trio pieces, ranging from Pushpanjali, Alarippu to Devaranama and Tillana.
