Nayana will be presenting two informal studio showings of Bharatanatyam performance in the form of a lecture demonstration together with Maria Prchal. The idea of this presentation is to introduce the form of Bharatanatyam to Salzburg audiences, giving insight into its dramaturgical, aesthetical logic. This presentation is a part of the research project "Unpacking Bharatanatyam", wherein Nayana attempts to discover doorways between the classical and contemporary artistic practices.
